I have a book on Chinese Chess (Xiangqi) and I\'d like to get some pages translated. I\'d like to know if you\'d be interested in such a project and what your rates would be.
I\'m looking to have approximately 100 pages translated from Mandarin Chinese (simplified) into English. Some pages are purely text (est 1400-1600 characters) while others are a combination of chess diagrams/images and text (est700-1000 characters). The translation of the diagrams/images can be ignored unless specifically requested. I have already scanned the book into Word documents using OCR software. I\'ve included a sample of each kind of page.
Are you available for a project like this? What are your rates? Would you offer a discount for this many pages? Are you available to start immediately? On average, how long would such a project take? I suspect it may take awhile so would you be able to deliver the translated pages in groups as they are completed instead of waiting until the whole thing is completed?
