Position Overview:
Full time position translation of Expedia Inc content and websites into Japanese
Responsibilities:
Translation of the Expedia Inc websites and associated content into the Japanese language
Qualifications:
Degree from a School of translation or equivalent diploma from a Japanese speaking university
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
Minimum 3 years experience of translation experience.
Core Competencies:
MUST be native Japanese speaker.
Linguistic skills and aptitude: familiar with working in a multilingual environment
Technically minded: able to grasp technical and complex concepts quickly
Travel vertical expertise and experience
Desirable - Knowledge of Translation Memory tools - Trados, SDL Worldserver
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and multi-task
Excellent attention to detail, special ability to focus on linguistic issues
